Nothing beats Taiwanese Pork Ragu mixed with hot steamed rice. At Old Bird, we hand cut pork belly and braised on the stove for hours with shiitake mushroom. It’s juicy and tender, a Chinese grandma would have approved.
Defrost and pour the contents in a small pot, cover, bring it to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stir to prevent sticking. Best friend with a bowl of steamed rice and a runny boiled or fried egg. For a more sophisticated palate, enjoy it with some pickles.
Keep it frozen until use.
